Nolwenn Collet Sheet Music

Sharing the sheet music I write for my albums of music for ballet class is a way to exchange ideas about how to play, arrange and write music for ballet class.

From a very early stage in my musical training, I was given the opportunity to study harmony, counterpoint, music analysis and composition "in the style of", which is a very important part of the classical French musical training at the Conservatoire. In my teen years, I had the chance to study for four years with composer Alexander Mullenbach, back at Conservatoire National de Luxembourg and then later on with both Grand Prix de Rome composers Alain Bernaud and Alain Louvier at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.

From this unique training, and throughout my experiences with ballet teachers and ballet dancers in the ballet studio, I have developed a personal way of writing music for ballet class over the years.
